The earth

Approximately 4.543 billion years; this is the age of our beautiful, planet Earth. Initially having no forms of life, the Earth was just a hot, fiery planet. Life did not start to initiate until the first autotrophic bacteria appeared around 2 to 3 billion years ago. From these autotrophic bacteria more complex life started to evolve and continues to evolve present-day. With various life forms, Earth has experienced many cycles, extinctions, and also mass evolution. Currently, we as humans, specifically Homo sapiens, are the most evolved life form on Earth. We have set records of technology and innovation that are unprecedented. With this we have somewhat forgotten that taking care of our planet is crucial for the betterment of humans in the future. Although we may believe our efforts in conserving the environment as trivial, even the smallest actions that we take can make an immense impact.

Through Our Beautiful Earth you can learn from environmental-related global concerns to what you can do to conserve and protect the earth for years to come. Please support this website so we can always continue to share and spread environmental knowledge to all. Watch Our Beautiful Earth's Introduction video HERE.

Our Beautiful Earth is more than just a website. It is a resource hub that provides basic information about a variety of environmental topics. Whether it is about current environmental issues or contextualizing climate change, Our Beautiful Earth offers to spread environmental knowledge from multiple perspectives. No matter your goals in life, there is always something you can do about climate change. We hope Our Beautiful Earth can meet your needs and serve as a useful resource and space to connect with others.

Our Beautiful earth essential thoughts

If we all put in the effort anything is possible. We can help mitigate this world's environmental problems.

We are the dominant creatures on planet Earth and it is up to us to take initiative.

The Earth serves, protects, and nurtures us, but what are our priorities?

All actions towards combating our current environmental problems are good but how can we ensure that these actions are "sustainable"?

Come to Our Zoom Webinars!
Since November 3rd 2020, Our Beautiful Earth has hosted various webinars on Zoom on various environmental topics. These webinars have discussion sessions that allow attendees to share their outlooks on various environmental topics.  We do not record the discussion session in order to respect and acknowledge all webinar attendees privacy. Remember, the links to these webinars are only available here on Our Beautiful Earth.

Next  Information: Topic: Air Quality and Pollution. Time: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM EST. Date: TBD. Zoom link: us04web.zoom.us/j/74074975928?pwd=NnRhM2RzVmFJbTA3OWtNSU9kZytFZz09
.  Remember, you can request a Zoom Webinar topic on the "COVID-19 on the Environment" tab. YouTube Channel Link can be found on the  "Why Help the Environment" tab.

Agenda of How All LIVE Zoom Webinar Discussions are Done:
*Participation is optional, we do not force but we do highly encourage participation. Length of the discussion in the Zoom webinar is not set, it depends on the number of attendees and the depth of the topic.
1. Everybody introduces themselves and describes their feelings for environmental conservation in general.
2. We ask attendees what they already know about the specific discussion topic.
3. We delve in discussion (we talk about ethical problems relating to the issue, how attendees feel about the topic, what are the roadblocks on solving the issue, what attendees have done to fix the issue and what they plan to do, and any other topics attendees may wish to discuss).

The information sessions on the decided topic may be uploaded before or after the discussion sessions. Sometimes information sessions may not be part of the Zoom Webinar and will be uploaded by Sheel Patel on YouTube to watch before attending the live zoom webinar discussions. Still, all of the information sessions, whether part of the Zoom Webinar or not, are recorded on YouTube to watch.
